PC World is still trading it has now merged with Currys Electrical and trades under the Currys PC World brand.
The giant computer retailers usually sell the latest tech devices on the market although they can struggle getting real top expert computer retail staff. If you want to buy from a computer store that gives real expert advice its best to go to the smaller more focussed retailers.
They offered a service called Collect@Store it was a convenient way of shopping on the internet which allowed you to pick up and pay for your item at your local PC World store.
This is PC World’s “expert“ technology help service. It’s a network of approved tech and appliance technicians across the UK who provide installation and setup of electrical goods. The service includes setting up and repairing computers and televisions and offering help and support. It is still running with the Currys PC World brand.
