History of Mankind the mens beauty product seller

Launched in 2001 as a mail order male grooming supplier with the initial supporting website mankindonline.co.uk. This was a whole new concept in the male grooming business. Creating a new outlet, mail order and website dedicated to male grooming and mens skincare. Mankind was the brain child of beauty skincare expert Hilary Andrews and business colleague Paul Jameson. The business was aimed at offering men a fuss free way of purchasing skin, hair and body care products. This was back in the day when it would not of been “manly” to moisturise your skin and really take care of your self in this way, if you were a man. The websites goal was to buy the best and most innovative shaving, skincare and hair care brands specifically for men and offer them in a way that makes buying simple and fast. Since the days of the initial conception in 2010 Mankind was sold to Hut Group for £2.5 million. Hilary Andrews who is a experienced skincare advisor also set up the website Beauty Expert.
