History of Laithwaites

Little did Tony Laithwaite know back in the late 1960’s when he was ferrying Bordeaux wines back to the UK his entrepreneurial spirit would grow into a wine empire and one of the best wine shops in the UK. His story is a great example of someone pursuing a dream, by hard work, patience and having a wonderful partner to share the dream. They are now a wine shop that as developed naturally from a true love of wine. Tony was instrumental in making available to the British public a choice of great quality wine.

They do offer discounts but the best way to get value for money on wine deals is to join the club! Becoming a member of the Laithwaites Wine Plans will entitle you to some smashing wine deals.
Laithwates do offer a delivery tracking service. This can be checked by logging on to your Laithwates account.
They are known for the story of  Tony Laithwaite ferrying wine from Bordeaux in an old van in 1969.
Yes picking up from a store is possible there is there is no charge for this but some restrictions apply and it does state up to 5 days for concession stores and 10 for Laithwaites stores. Might be better to have delivery to your home!
